Your tasks:

  • Funding Management: Monitoring, forecasting and steering of Lloyds Bank GmbH’s funding position
  • Capital Management: Ensuring that Lloyds Bank GmbH’s capitalisation is in line with internal, group wide and (German) regulatory requirements
  • Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP): Overseeing, implementing and maintaining the FTP methodology for Lloyds Bank GmbH providing expert knowledge about necessary deviations from the Group system due to German regulatory requirements
  • Liquidity & Cash Management: Monitoring and forecasting Lloyds Bank GmbH’s liquidity applying a Liquidity Gap Analysis as well as planning, inducing and supervising money market transactions
  • Supervision of trading process:
  • Inducing the funding, liquidity management and hedging trades
  • Supervising the execution and ensuring the planned trades are within the respective limits
  • Ensuring German regulatory requirements are met throughout the whole trading process
  • Provider Management: Controlling if the contractual obligations are adhered to by all parties whilst maintaining a close communication with all stakeholders
  • Hedge Execution:
  • Day to day management of the market risk portfolios, whilst meeting all relevant regulatory and other requirements
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of the market risk positions and contribute to the development and implementation of hedging strategies
  • Understand macro-economic events and their effects on markets and specific positions

Your knowlege/experience:

  • Degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics or Science with several years of relevant Treasury experience
  • Accountancy qualification preferred
  • Strong understanding of Bank business models and the role of Treasury
  • Prior experience and skills in financial management, controlling and reporting as well as planning/forecasting
  • Proven analytical abilities
  • Understanding of German and EU regulations, in particular MaRisk and CRR a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
