Your tasks:

  • Provide specialist skills for testing as part of agile delivery teams
  • Manage the testing process so that all relevant requirements are met, best practice and quality are maintained or suggestions for improvement submitted and ensure that any issues are dealt with
  • Produce test strategy in order to define the approach and processes to be used and therefore gain agreement and consistency for all testing phases
  • Ensure test pre-requisites are planned and managed (including test documentation, data and environments)
  • Proactively manage and mitigate test risks and issues, identifying gaps and providing solutions to QA delivery problems
  • Maintain an awareness of industry trends and best practice challenging the norm and staying at the forefront of QA delivery and taking account of tools, technologies and methodology
  • Manage the exploration and assessment of alternative working methods where appropriate

Your knowlege/experience:

  • Educated to degree level in computer science, business administration or equivalent
  • Experience in managing projects and delivering appropriate MI and governance
  • Experience of working in a dynamic agile delivery environment
  • Experience and knowledge across the entire test lifecycle including quality engineering, performance engineering, test data and environments
  • Experience of toolsets including e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, Saucelabs, Jenkins, Maven, Jira is benficial
  • Good German and English communication skills
