Your tasks:

  • Responsible for helping the business set up high quality, efficient processes and operations solutions
  • Providing both functional and technical expertise in solution development, enhancement and implementation
  • Developing formal proposals for projects, conducting initial assessments, high level feasibility studies and contributing to the development of business cases
  • Work with colleagues from other departments to confirm business objectives, capture business requirements and problems together with appropriate performance criteria and translate into functional and technical requirements
  • Identify, evaluate and recommend possible solutions to improve processes and operations
  • Support the implementation, testing and acceptance of new systems functionality into the production environment
  • Produce reports and presentations for key stakeholders
  • Ensure relevant knowledge transfer plus support documentation is available

Your knowlege/experience:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Proven business analysis skills – preferably in a Retail Banking environment
  • Focus on achievement of business objectives - ensuring fitness for purpose of systems solutions
  • Technical background (software development e.g. Java/databases e.g. Oracle) a strong plus
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to prioritise tasks
  • Good time management; track record of delivery against agreed plans/timescales and escalation of issues as required
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships; to engage and operate across organisational levels
  • Excellent business writing, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent English skills, German is not required but a plus
