As Business Intelligence Business Analyst you are responsible for ensuring that company-wide reporting needs are translated into efficient Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse solutions and you support the delivery of those needs within the agile BI development team. You will assess the impacts on the central data warehouse from various changes in source systems or the regulatory reporting landscape and initiate the necessary changes. You will propose new BI/DWH solutions that increase efficiency as well as transparency across the business and improve the general DWH architecture.

 

Your tasks:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify reporting needs and appropriate business intelligence solutions from a central data warehouse
  • Carry out impact assessments of source system changes or regulatory reporting landscape with effects on the data warehouse
  • Define and scope BI projects and prioritize them with input from stakeholders and technical architects
  • Translate reporting needs into functional and technical requirements and manage them throughout their lifecycle
  • Work closely with BI developers in various, partly remote, locations
  • Take responsibility and ensure delivery of the proposed solutions

Your knowlege/experience:

  • Educated to a Bachelor’s degree in Business studies and/or IT
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships and work collaboratively across organizational levels
  • Excellent business writing, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Functional understanding of data warehousing
  • Proven work experience as a BA or in a BI/ Reporting/ IT environment
