As Business Intelligence Business Analyst you are responsible for ensuring company-wide reporting needs are translated into efficient Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse solutions and you support the delivery of those needs within the agile BI development team. You will propose new BI/DWH solutions that increase efficiency as well as transparency across the business and improve the general DWH architecture.


Your tasks:

  • Understanding the tactical and strategic business objectives and consider the impact on the overall BI strategy
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify reporting needs and appropriate business intelligence solutions
  • Defining and scoping of Business Intelligence projects and prioritizing them with input from stakeholders and technical architects considering the added value compared to the required efforts
  • Translating reporting needs into functional and technical requirements and managing them throughout their lifecycle
  • Taking responsibility and ensuring delivery of the proposed solution 

Your knowlege/experience:

  • Educated to a Master’s degree in Business studies and/or IT
  • Proven work experience in reporting
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships and work collaboratively across organizational levels
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Excellent business writing, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Functional understanding of data warehousing
