Your tasks:

  • Contribute to the execution of Lloyds Bank’s sustainability programme by supporting the coordination and implementation of environmental initiatives and processes across various departments
  • Research and analyse the complex and evolving ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) regulatory & reporting landscape in Germany, the Netherlands and within the EU
  • Analyse and monitor environmental and social trends and risks using available market and internal data
  • Support the disclosure of sustainability data and the continuous development, tracking and benchmarking of KPIs to monitor our strategic performance
  • Assist in creating proposals for projects, conducting initial assessments, high level feasibility studies and business cases
  • Create high quality reports and presentations for key internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the development and implementation of plans and initiatives to optimise the impact of our activities and products on society and the environment

Your knowledge/experience:

  • Master or bachelor’s degree in the area of Sustainability, Data, Legal, Finance or related field
  • First relevant work experience
  • Data-driven mindset with excellent research & analysis skills
  • Proactive and motivated to become an expert in the field of sustainability and help the bank achieve its commercial, environmental and social goals
  • Able to structure and assimilate large amounts of data and information quickly, including solid knowledge of MS Excel/PowerPoint
  • Clear verbal and written communicator – ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Fluency in English – German and/or Dutch would be an asset
