Your tasks:
- Lead, motivate and develop the QA engineers (line management function for approx. 5 colleagues)
- Be essential part of project to setup an overarching QA framework for the bank – covering two countries and 100+ applications
- Take a leading role as Subject Matter Expert and advice on QA standards and best-practice with a strong focus on QA governance
- Review the “as is“ QA approach for multiple applications and identify control gaps or necessary improvements
- Documentation and implementation of the required improvements, KPIs and process adjustments to establish an overarching QA framework
- Be single contact point and advisor for other departments or delivery teams, how to adhere to the QA framework and standards – ensure compliance to the bank’s processes and guidelines
- Manage future testing demand, capability, and relationships i.e. to 3rd party testing teams
Your knowledge/experience:
- Educated to Bachelor degree level or equivalent and long-term experience in a relevant field
- Experienced in people leadership
- Several years of professional experience in IT Quality Assurance practice and strong background on functional and non-functional testing
- Hands on experience setting up appropriate Test Strategies and Test Management
- Skills and knowledge how to setup and enforce QA Governance
- Striving for continuous improvement of existing processes and practices
- Excellent communication and consulting skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English and German
