The role of the IT Analyst - Supplier Management is a generalist IT position to enable the various business teams to deliver IT change initiatives. You will be learning the key aspects of a compliant and safe technology implementation including the respective IT governance frameworks. Depending on your interests, this position allows you to develop into a specialist role in one of the several IT areas.

Your tasks:

IT Supplier Management

  • This position will collaborate with stakeholders within IT and/or the business, such as IT service delivery and business contract owners to ensure technology provider contract performance to expectations, e.g. conduct SLA reviews or service meetings.
  • Work with the IT Governance & Compliance team and the Outsourcing Officer to perform further regular supplier management activities, e.g. updating outsourcing risk analysis, evaluate the technology and security related supplier assurance activities, etc.
  • If required, you will evaluate contractual requirements for technology and security and advise on e.g. service-level agreements.

 

IT Engagement for Change Initiatives

  • Support the IT Engagement process at Bank of Scotland which ensures the compliant implementation of new and changed technology to the bank’s IT landscape in line with BAIT and MaRisk and the bank’s internal policies.
  • In this role, you will collaborate closely with the different experts from IT Architecture, IT Security, IT Service Management and IT Compliance in order to guarantee the delivery requirements from these areas are fulfilled prior to go-live.
  • You will work cross-functional with the several departments of the bank, e.g. HR, Finance, Customer Services to evaluate and support their IT-related change initiatives. You will consult the business teams regarding the completion of IT requirements e.g. for IT security, IT operation processes, etc..

Your knowledge/experience:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or equivalent
  • First experience in IT change management, IT outsourcing, IT service management and / or IT security
  • Knowledge of IT or project management governance frameworks e.g. ITIL, COBIT, PMI is a plus
  • Able to draw upon strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships with business stakeholders and key suppliers
  • Striving for continuous improvement of existing processes and practices
  • Fluency in spoken and written business level English. German and / or Dutch is a plus
