Your tasks:

  • Understanding core financials of a business across P&L, Balance Sheet for secured and unsecured loans
  • Preparing and developing financial plans, budgets and forecasts and ensuring these align to strategic goals
  • Ensuring the maintenance of financial planning models
  • Ensuring the facilitation of communication of business-critical information between the business and Finance
  • Performing ad hoc financial analysis, scenario analysis and MI to support and influence strategic and operational business decision making
  • Ensuring communication of financial performance to the business
  • Contributing to business case development, pricing and margin management strategies, assumptions and outputs 
  • Ensuring that finance acts as the first line of defence for reviewing credit performance and supporting implementation of new projects

Your knowledge/experience:

  • Accountancy qualification with knowledge of IFRS accounting
  • Bachelor degree and several years of work experience
  • Knowledge of discounted financial cash flows and their financial modelling
  • Awareness of market and industry environment
  • Practical understanding of relevant financial systems and processes
  • Good presentation skills
  • Ability to implement change
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
