Your tasks:

  • Perform a key role in the delivery of a Lloyds Bank GmbH Pfandbrief Programme and be subject matter expert on financial risk management and control topics within the Pfandbrief Feature Team
  • Act as primary source of knowledge on credit risk management related topics within the tTeam
  • Support in the delivery of all items with a focus on items related to credit risk management and control procedures; including ensuring a reliable infrastructure such as relevant models, data, control environment and compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements and the generation of key management information
  • Translate credit risk requirements into project scope, objectives, product vision and relevant backlog items
  • Take informed decisions required for project delivery together with the team
  • Plan, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for delivery of the project
  • Participate in all relevant meetings such as the sprint planning meeting, daily scrums, team discussions, impediment and risk identification
  • Identify any issues that may impact on delivery in advance and seeks solution to rectify

Your knowledge/experience:

  • Master or Bachelor Degree in Finance, Economics, Econometrics or related fields
  • Strong English skills in writing and speaking, German skills would be a significant advantage
  • Experience in and good understanding of retail credit risk, especially related to mortgage products
  • Good understanding on regulatory requirements regarding internal models for credit risk and more sophisticated credit risk techniques and EBA guidelines
  • Sound understanding of the minimum requirements for risk management (MaRisk) as required by BaFin
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn about the Lloyds Bank GmbH and BaFin Pfandbrief risk management framework
  • Ability to validate designs and solutions
  • Highly collaborative across all disciplines within the Feature Team
  • Solid data analysis and reporting skills using either MS Excel, SQL or SAS
  • Detail oriented whilst also capable of seeing the bigger picture
